Lee Brinkman

Director

Lee Brinkman lives in Vernon where she is raising her young son and enjoying the natural beauty of the North Okanagan. As a parent, she values giving children a childhood filled with curiosity, outdoor exploration, and meaningful connection to the world around them.

Much of Lee’s time outside of work is spent adventuring with her son—whether that means geocaching, exploring local trails, or celebrating the rhythms of nature in simple ways, like full moon parties in the treehouse. These small traditions help nurture a sense of wonder, imagination, and appreciation for the outdoors.

Professionally, Lee has a background in marketing, communications, and digital design, with experience supporting non-profit organizations through website development, graphic design, and community outreach.

As a new member of the Vernon OAK Learning Society, Lee is excited to help support the creation of a thoughtful, nature-connected learning community for families in the North Okanagan.

We are looking for support from our local and global community!

Unlike public schools, there is no money available for the capital costs of an independent school. This means 100% of the funds will need to come from those who share our vision and our deep desire to create a better world for our children. No amount is too small. Every penny of your gift will go towards the school.

If you would like to give a child the gift of attending this school, please consider becoming a sponsor. Send us an email and we will make it happen!

If you have land to donate, kindly contact us.
